Easier Pathway for Nurses Applying to Ontario’s Express Entry Human Capital Priorities and French-Speaking Skilled Worker Streams On July 4, 2024, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program announced key changes regarding the educational requirements for nurses applying under the following streams: Express Entry Human Capital Priorities, and French-Speaking Skilled Worker. These changes will make it easier for nurses to use and increase the opportunities for capable nurses who want to establish a new life in Ontario. A nurse is not anymore required to show documents proving that the education requirement is met if the following criteria are met: Nurse Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario: General, Extended, or Temporary class, CNO.
