AN application for Australia PR is available in a number of categories. While the qualifying standards for each category vary, there are certain that are shared by all of them.
The fundamental requirements to apply for a PR
under the 189 or 190 subclasses are as follows:
1.
Age
Requirement The applicant must be under 45 years old.
2.
Occupation
Requirement: The applicant's occupation must be on the In-Demand list and they
must obtain a positive skills assessment report from the relevant skills
assessment body.
3.
English Language Proficiency: Must
possess a valid passport issued by the United Kingdom, the United States of
America, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland and be a citizen of
that country; alternatively, must meet the minimum English requirements of 6 in
each band of the IELTS exam or an equivalent score on the PTE, TOEFL, OET, or
CAE.
4.
Points Requirement: A minimum of 65
points overall.
5.
Additional qualifications: Each
applicant must fulfil the requirements for character and health.
