You are not required to pay the visa cost for the Canada PR process until your application is chosen. However, the first cost of your education assessment is your responsibility.

Step 1: Educational Credentials Assessment (ECA)

The estimated cost of the ECA is INR 14,500 (about 240 Canadian dollars).

You can use an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) to confirm that your foreign degree or diploma is equivalent to and valid from Canada.  Different kinds of ECAs exist. To be eligible for immigration, you must obtain an ECA.

Some extra expenses could be:

• $240 + $10 ($10 approximate courier fees)

• Fast Express courier fees: $240 plus $85. ($ 85 for the cost of a Fast Express courier)

Your Express Entry profile needs to have the reference number and your ECA report.

Step 2: English Language Assessment Fee

• Police certificate: 1000 INR (varies based on the city of origin)
Fees for the Police Clearance Certificate: The Police Clearance Certificate is subject to a 1000 rupee fee.

  • Passport holders receive the police clearance certificate from the External Affairs Ministry.
  • In India, Passport Seva Kendra is the place to obtain a Police Clearance Certificate.
  • This certificate must be presented at the time of the final visa submission, if possible.
  • If you were living abroad, PCC from the nations you called home for the last ten years is crucial.

Step 5: Finish the biometrics.

The biometric fee is CAD 170 for two or more candidates and CAD 85 for a solo applicant.

Step 6: You must send the information on your passport.

• The cost of a passport might range from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2500. This fee is waived if your passport is currently valid.

There will be additional processing fees if you apply through a Provincial Nominee Program.

•The cost of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) depends upon the selected Province and can be anywhere between 300 CAD to 1500 CAD.
